The Loess Group was formed in 2021 by Matthew Pross as an electrical engineering consulting firm whose mission is to provide engineering services at a level that exceeds our customer’s expectations. Principal Engineer
Matthew is a seasoned engineering professional with a journeyman electrician background. He has 26 years of electrical industry experience and is a registered professional engineer with special emphasis in power system operation, maintenance, and design. Matt’s power system modeling and analysis experience includes load flow, power factor correction, short circuit, equipment evaluation, breaker coordination, and flash hazard analysis. Matt’s time as a Commissioned Officer in the Iowa Army National Guard speaks to his diligence in attention to detail, leadership, and professionalism.
